The use of modern technology drains the human element out of the business transaction and turns it into a numbers game. With the insurance transaction, the agent is one of the few human contacts the consumer will ever have. At a time when treating the consumer well is more important than ever before, shouldn’t every agent learn a little more about Ethics? · State Requirements The states are gradually moving to standardization of insurance agent licensing. Eventually, all agents will be required to complete 3 credits of Ethics CE each compliance period. Those three credits are just the minimum requirement; an agent could get all their CE credits in Ethics. ASK ME ABOUT THIS.
